HondaTrue Certified Program benefits apply to 2014 and newer model-year vehicles with more than 12 months or 12,000 miles from their original in-service date. HondaTrue Certified+ benefits apply to 2018 and newer model-year vehicles with less than 12 months or 12,000 miles from their original in-service date at the time of the Certified+ purchase.
All HondaTrue Certified and Certified+ vehicles must pass a 182 point inspection, are certified and backed by a 7-year/100,000-mile limited warranty on the powertrain, and one of the following Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty non-powertrain coverage periods:
- HondaTrue Certified: an additional 12 months or 12,000 miles
- HondaTrue Certified+: an additional 24 months or 50,000 miles

- A thorough multi-point mechanical and appearance inspection, performed by the dealer, to ensure that each used vehicle meets Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle standards
- Honda-trained technicians scrutinize all major vehicle systems, including brakes, engine, drivetrain, steering, suspension, tires, wheels, exhaust system and vehicle interior and exterior
- Dealer technicians recondition any component that does not meet our standards
- Any component that cannot be reconditioned is replaced with Honda Genuine Parts
- A limited warranty that covers engine and transmission components for up to 7 years/100,000 miles[1]
