2016 Honda Civic 1.5T Has More Power than Originally Thought!

2016 Honda CivicThe 2016 Honda Civic has been soaring through reviews and ratings with flying colors! Everyone has been exceptionally excited about the new re-designed 2016 Honda Civic! The Honda customers have been very positive about the new design of the exterior and interior but mostly about the new motor that everyone has been waiting patiently for! Yeah thats right the 1.5 Turbocharged engine that puts out 174 HP and 162 lbs of torque! Honda enthusiasts have been waiting patiently for Honda to put a nice turbo in the Civic, and they have been more than happy to hear that the new Si will have one as well!

Recently, the Honda Civic 1.5T was put on a dyno to find out how much power was actually being made to the wheels and the results were shocking. Everyone has come to find out that there was more power being made to the wheels than we originally thought! The 2016 Honda Civic 1.5T makes 177HP and 190 lbs of torque at the wheels. Say what?? Now the torque is noticeably higher than Honda originally put out, which could be because Honda tested the Civic through a engine dyno. The 2016 Honda Civic Turbo has also been tested against last generations Civic Si and won! The 2016 Honda Civic sedan was tested and goes 0-60 Mph in 7.2 seconds and ran a quarter mile in 15.5 seconds which makes it one of the fastest non-performance trim compact car! Honda for the win!
